To think about...I

Brazil’s classification in relation to high school Science teaching is not good. And this problem has been getting worse.
A quality science education is essential to create future citizens, capable to think critically, and understand how to use techniques or more advanced technologies. But this scientific education must be complemented by Environmental Education, worked in a transversal way in schools, in order to guarantee values transformation and other dimensions are included in teaching, for instance, ethics and social reflections on issues and problems to be worked.

The industry and market can contribute a lot to a sustainable development, using renewable energy sources, more efficient raw materials through technological innovation, innovation in packaging, as well as recycling and reuse.
But this "package" of actions cannot come dissociated of a conscious consumer.
The act of selling and consuming act in a responsible and sustainable way should be seen as the responsibility of both parties. And for both, the consumer must be literate or prepared to practice and charge responsible and sustainable attitudes. Without education, there is no possibility of consolidating a less predatory consumption.
