What is the green consumer? Many
people, when questioned on the subject, try to explain, but do not actually know the true meaning of this expression.
Due to the increasing number of people concerned
about the environment, companies from various fields of activity found themselves in a situation where, or had adopted measures
to reduce the impact on environment, or
lose a lot of consumers eager for green products .
Therefore, several companies, NGOs and projects throughout
Brazil, began focusing his productions based on
the theory of green consumption, which aims to inform the public about the harm that our planet has
been getting, and with it, encourage
it to consume biodegradable
products such as recycled paper,
plastic bags ecological beyond various industrial products and garbage collection.

Some measures
such as these are important, because with the increase of people seeking
these products, companies had to change their production so that they could continue to meet this demand also consumers.
The wave of green consumption was really important to the changing habits of the population, but in reality it is not enough to solve
the environmental problems more
effectively, because for the
planet to sustain global consumption which
only grows, is necessary
to use many natural resources
that will end at some point,
so that besides being necessary to
consume "green" products is necessary to consume consciously, i.e., buy
only what is
truly necessary. There is no need
to buy a new car each year, or upgrade your
phone when companies create
a new generation of iPhones and Galaxy. And these analogies are necessary for all manufactured products.
Sustainable Consumption besides
contemplating ideas of Green Consumption,
also aims to change consumerist behavior of people. Because in addition to consume products that cause less
environmental impact, people should
buy only essential things. Thus the planet can restore
natural resources, ensuring the sustenance of life on earth.
