Nikola Tesla: "The
creator of the twentieth century"
In our society the
development and use of products or
electronic devices is increasingly
common and necessary to establish
trade relations, facilitate
communication and provide greater
comfort to our lives. Nowadays it is hard to realize an independent society
without electricity, because most of industrial processes and human behavior
involves the consumption of energy; individual activities more common as turning
on your computer, take a warm bath, turn on a light, turn on the car, take an elevator, moving staircases and buy supermarket products. All these individual actions added to and expanded
across the globe contribute to an increase in consumption and electricity demand.
Well, what is the period
of history and the thinkers who
revolutionized the world in the field
of electronics? Some of most influential researchers were Nikola
Tesla, a Croatian, and Thomas Edson. To
understand how the society matrix machine works, we must learn about its origin,
then, a bit of history.
Nicolau Tesla (Никола Тесла) was born in July 10, 1856, in Similian, current
Serbian. He was an electric engineer and an important researcher.
Inventions and theories:
Tesla, being a man ahead of his time had already envisioned a world simpler
and more sustainable, with solutions and ideas for greater energy efficiency. He built and
developed theories about Electromagnetic field. Among his inventions and patenting, we can
list:
·
Transmission of electric power by alternating
current system.
·
Cold
lamps
·
X-Rays
·
Radio
waves
·
Wireless
technology devised.
·
Remote
control
·
Generator
of infinite power
Altogether, he recorded more
than 700 patents. His vision included exploration
of solar energy and the power of the sea, predicting interplanetary communications and satellites.
If
Nikola Tesla had not researched these theories, perhaps you would not be reading this text right now on the computer and, further, any
electrical or electronic equipment would exist.
By observing the consequences generated by the Tesla works is clear
that his work was one of the most
important and revolutionary of the twentieth century. A thinker ahead of his time it was
not understood and suffered prejudice
due to the magnitude of his ideas.
Our way of
living nowadays wouldn’t be possible without Nikola Tesla. So
those interested is a tip: watch the
